By accessing or using CourtLookup.com ("the Service"), operated by ITS MY SEAT INC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CourtLookup.com provides AI-powered legal document analysis. Users upload court documents and receive AI-generated case analysis reports including case strength assessments, evidence analysis, and strategic insights.

3. Not Legal Advice

CourtLookup.com is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice. Our AI-generated analysis is for informational purposes only. The analysis, scores, and insights provided should not be considered a substitute for professional legal counsel.

You should always consult with a qualified, licensed attorney before making any legal decisions based on information obtained through our Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated analysis.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted
  • You may register using email/password or through social login providers (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, LinkedIn)

5. Document Upload and Analysis

  • You must only upload documents that you have the legal right to possess and share
  • Upload only official court documents and case-related materials for case research orders
  • You are solely responsible for the content of uploaded documents
  • We process documents using AI technology for analysis purposes only
  • Original document files are deleted after text extraction
  • Analysis reports are generated by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies

6. Pricing and Payments

  • Self-Service Case Research: $49.99 per order (up to 50 documents, 2 analysis runs)
  • Case Evaluation: $24.99 per evaluation
  • Analysis Pro Subscription: $199/month for unlimited case analyses
  • Updates: $14.99 to add documents and re-run analysis
  • All prices are in USD and subject to change with notice
  • Payments are processed securely through Authorize.net
  • Credits purchased are non-refundable except as required by law

7. Refund Policy

If our Service fails to deliver a completed analysis report due to a technical error on our part, you are eligible for a full refund of that order. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the order date via support@courtlookup.com.

Refunds are not available for completed analysis reports, even if you disagree with the AI's conclusions. The AI analysis represents an automated assessment and results may vary.

8. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of all documents you upload
  • AI-generated analysis reports are provided for your personal or professional use
  • The Service, its design, features, and technology are owned by ITS MY SEAT INC
  • You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service or its analysis methodology

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to share
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI analysis methodology
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Submit fraudulent payment information
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Upload malicious files or content

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ITS MY SEAT INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated analysis. Legal decisions made based on our analysis are your sole responsibility.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
