Chat AI gives you a single perspective based on whatever you paste in — and you can't paste 50+ PDFs. CourtLookup is purpose-built for legal analysis with a multi-stage pipeline that no chat interface can replicate: (1) each document is analyzed individually from three perspectives — plaintiff attorney, defense attorney, and judge; (2) documents are grouped by type and cross-referenced in an Evidence Ledger that checks timelines and catches contradictions across 50+ files (stress-tested on 250+ documents); (3) AI attorneys argue both sides in an adversarial debate while an AI judge evaluates both arguments for logical flaws, circular reasoning, and blame-shifting; (4) a final synthesis produces a comprehensive report with case strength scores, strategy breakdowns, and outcome predictions; (5) your report, documents, and analysis are saved permanently — ask follow-up questions with full context anytime, and re-analyze as your case evolves. This is a structured analytical pipeline, not a conversation.
Self-Service Case Analysis: You upload your own court documents (PDFs, images) and our AI analyzes them with deep reasoning, adversarial debate, and evidence cross-referencing. Includes up to 50 files, 2 analysis runs, and unlimited Q&A. Great when you already have the case files.
Do I Have a Case?: Upload your evidence (contracts, emails, photos, correspondence) and our AI evaluates whether you have a viable legal claim. Includes attorney recommendations, fee guidance, and an attorney-ready report you can bring to consultations. Great for pre-litigation evaluation.
Full Support Add-On: Available as an upgrade ($49.99) after purchasing a Self-Service analysis. Our team reviews your case, downloads additional documents from official court systems, and provides unlimited uploads and analysis runs with premium AI models.
Some court systems (like PACER for federal courts) charge per page to download documents. For Full Support orders, we research the case first and quote the estimated download cost before you pay. You always know the total cost before we proceed.
Yes! For $14.99, you can upload new documents and get a re-analysis that incorporates the latest filings. You can also upgrade any self-service analysis to Full Support for $10.00 — our team will download additional documents from official court systems and provide unlimited analysis runs.
For $199.00/month, you get unlimited self-service case analyses and updates at no additional charge. The $4.99 fee for uploading more than 50 files per case still applies. Full Support upgrades are available at the standard rate ($99.99 + download costs). This is ideal for attorneys or firms who analyze cases regularly.
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you signed up. Your included searches reset each billing cycle. If you exceed your monthly limit, additional searches are charged at the overage rate shown on your plan. You can cancel anytime.
Full Support orders are fully refunded if the case cannot be found. Self-service orders are non-refundable since analysis is delivered instantly. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period, but you can cancel to prevent future charges. Contact support@courtlookup.com for refund requests.
Our multi-perspective approach is specifically designed to catch the blind spots that single-pass AI tools miss. By having AI attorneys argue both sides and an AI judge evaluate those arguments, we detect circular reasoning, blame-shifting, selective evidence presentation, and logical flaws that a single AI read-through would adopt uncritically. The adversarial structure forces the analysis to be balanced and evidence-based. That said, AI analysis is a tool for insight, not a replacement for legal counsel — we always recommend consulting a licensed attorney before making legal decisions.
We accept PDFs, Word documents (.docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), and images (JPG, PNG, TIFF). Scanned documents and images are automatically processed with OCR (optical character recognition) to extract the text. Each file can be up to 10 MB.
Yes. You can upload court documents from any country and any jurisdiction. Our AI processes documents in English, Spanish, French, German, and many other languages. The analysis adapts to the legal system of the jurisdiction — whether it is common law (US, UK, Canada), civil law (Europe, Latin America), or other legal traditions.
Absolutely. Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not share your case data with other users or use it to train AI models. Your analysis results are accessible only to you through your authenticated account. Documents are stored securely and can be deleted at your request.
For most cases (under 25 files), the full analysis completes in 10-15 minutes. Larger cases with 100+ documents may take 30-60 minutes. You can close the browser and come back — the analysis runs in the background and your report will be waiting on your dashboard when it is done.
Yes. Every report includes an AI Q&A sidebar where you can ask questions about your specific case. The AI has full context of all your uploaded documents and the analysis, so you can ask things like "What is the strongest argument against the defendant?" or "What evidence would I need to prove fraud?" and get detailed, case-specific answers.
